A Warm But Blustery Day In Mid Michigan
Yesterday broke some records for warmest day, but didn’t quite make it here. Our temperatures were in the mid 50s most of the day and even overnight. Now our temps are dropping and a wind advisory is in effect until 4 PM. Tomorrow looks to be a very stormy one, especially for the states south of us. As for us, we are expecting a mix of snow and ice. I had an appointment in Lansing which I cancelled. I don’t want to be out driving on slippery roads when I don’t absolutely have to. I did enough of that before I retired.
Our 3:15 PM temperature is 46°F, the humidity is 68%, and skies are cloudy. Winds are from the SW at 18 mph, gusting to 36 mph. Visibility is 11 miles. The wind chill is 37°F and the dew point is 33°F. Yesterday’s high was 57°F and the overnight low was 53°F. Average temps for this date are 33°F / 17°F. The record high for Feb. 14 is 62°F and the record low is -17°F. Sunrise was at 7:36 AM and sunset will be at 6:08 PM.
