Temps Remain Much Above Average – Mid Michigan
The highs yesterday made it into the mid 40s and we lost a lot of snow and ice. This morning began with sun but now it has become mostly cloudy. We could see a high near 50°F this afternoon. Our snow cover has dwindled to about 30% and I expect that to be gone by tonight. Unfortunately, we have another ice/snow/sleet storm coming our way for Wednesday. This, so far, sounds like it will be more ice than snow, so that’s not good. There is still time for the forecast to change and I hope it does. I hate ice! Anyway, today sounds like a winner so we’ll worry about the upcoming storm when it happens.
Our 11 AM temperature is 41°F (5°C), the humidity is 59%, and skies are mostly cloudy. Winds are from the SW at 6-13 mph, and the dew point is 25°F (-4°C). The pressure is 29.63 in (1003 mb) and falling, and the wind chill is 34°F (1°C). Visibility is 13 miles. Yesterday’s high was 44°F (6°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C). Average temps for this date are 34°F / 18°F. Record temps for Feb. 18 are 63°F / -14°F. Sunrise was at 7:30 AM and sunset will be at 6:13 PM.
