Quiet Before The Storm – Mid Michigan

We lost the rest of the snow and ice from last week’s storm, but now we have another expected to arrive on Wednesday.  It sound pretty much like the last one.  It’s supposed to start with snow, then change to sleet and freezing rain after that.  I’m glad that I don’t have to go anywhere on Thursday, because I don’t imagine that the roads will be very good.  Today shouldn’t be too bad although I think our sun is done for the day.  Temperatures will be fairly mild and winds will be light.

Our 11:45 AM temp is 37°F (3°C), the humidity is 68%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are calm and the dew point is 25°F (-4°C).  The pressure is 29.96 in (1014 mb) and steady, and visibility is 11 miles.  Yesterdays’ high was 52°F (11°C) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C).  Average temps for this date are 34°F / 18°F.  Record temps for Feb. 19 are 61°F / -26°F.  Sunrise was at 7:28 AM and sunset will be at 6:14 PM.
