Another Snowy Weather System For Tomorrow – Mid Michigan
This is the third weekend where a snowy weather system is about to drop 3-6 inches of snow on us. This is getting to be a habit, one that we are getting tired of. We still have some ice patches that haven’t melted yet from the ice storm 4 weeks ago. Ice melts much slower than snow, and it remains in areas that don’t get much sun. Now tomorrow we’ll be shoveling again. Since our January and February were so mild, I was afraid that we’d be making up for it this month. I just hope that it doesn’t carry on into April.
Our 6:15 PM temperature is 37°F (3°C), the humidity is 69%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the east at 4-10 mph and the wind chill is 33°F (1°C). The dew point is 26°F (-3°C) and visibility is 10 miles. The pressure is 29.83 in (1010.2 mb) and falling. Yesterday’s high was 43°F (6°C) and the overnight low was 25°F (-4°C). Average temps for this date are 41°F/23°F. Record temps for March 8 are 72°F/-5°F. Sunrise was at 7:01 AM and sunset will be at 6:36 PM.
