Intermittent Lake Effect Snow Squalls For Our Saturday – Mid Michigan
Today really feels like winter. We are having off and on snow squalls which only last a few minutes, but are heavy enough to affect visibility for those out driving. We aren’t going to see much warming today and we have about half an inch of snow cover. The biggest issue is the wind. Our wind chill is in the single digits and temps won’t even come close to the freezing mark. Right now, the sky has some breaks in the clouds and the sun is trying to make an appearance. At least its a little break until the next squall comes along. Next week should bring a significant warmup with highs reaching into the 50s most days.
