Rainy Changing To Snow Later – Mid Michigan
My condolences to the people of Mississippi who were victimized last night by devastating tornadoes. I follow a couple of storm chasers on YouTube, and they were busy giving medical aid; transporting people to hospitals and medical facilities following these storms. It was pretty intense. My heart goes out to the victims and those who lost loved ones or pets. These same states seem to get hit every week, but at least most of the storms weren’t as bad as those last night.
As for us, we had light rain overnight, and other showers have developed this morning. We are expecting snow later but no real accumulations. The big issues will be the winds with gusts up to 40 mph possible. My picture is of our lovely sunset last night. There was also a lot of buzz on the Facebook Michigan Weather site of northern lights which were visible Thursday night. There are many great pictures posted.
