No End To The Severe Weather – Mid Michigan

There is another round of severe and tornadic weather expected for mid week.  My area is in the marginal risk area, but it seems like these storms keep hitting the same areas.  So far, we’ve been lucky, but I keep wondering how long our luck will hold.  Today is beginning with very chilly temperatures but plenty of sun.  There is frost this morning but temperatures are expected to rise into the upper 40s by afternoon.  Winds won’t be too strong so it should be a nice day to be out and about.

Our 9:45 AM temperature is 34°F (1°C), the humidity is 73%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the S at 3-7 mph, and the dew point is 23°F (-5°C).  The pressure is 30.10 in (1019.7) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 56°F (13°C) and the overnight low was 22°F (-6°C).  Average temps for this date are 51°F/31°F.  Sunrise was at 7:18 AM and sunset will be at 8:04 PM.
