Severe Weather Expected Today – Mid Michigan
We are starting our day with a tornado watch and very mild temperatures. At this time, most of the storms are moving well to our west, but I know that we’ll get our share later. We already had one loud clap of thunder and a downpour which just lasted a about a minute. I spent all day yesterday in Detroit. My son had to have emergency surgery but he’s doing find. I’m glad that I don’t have to go anywhere today.
Right now (9AM), we have 58°F, the humidity is 92%, and skies are overcast with light rain. The dew point is 59°F and winds are from the south at 1-8 mph. We are under a tornado watch until 4 PM. Visibility is 7 miles. Our high yesterday was 52°F and that was pretty much our overnight low, as temperatures were on the rise all night. The pressure is 29.62 in and falling. Sunrise was at 7:13 AM and sunset will be at 8:07 PM.
