Snow Showers For Our Monday – Mid Michigan

Snow Showers For Our Monday – Mid Michigan

Our morning began with a light cover of snow on bare surfaces, but my rain gauge had just water.  We received 0.36″ of precip yesterday and overnight, and snow showers have continued throughout our early afternoon.  This should be the order of the day.  It is also quite blustery out there, so not a nice day to have to go out.  All the snow is melting on contact, so no accumulations are expected.  This will be our coldest day this week, then each day will be a little warmer.  Highs on Thursday are expected to be back near 70 degrees, followed by temps near average the remained of the week.

Our 2:15 PM temperature is 41°F (5°C), the humidity is 78%, and skies are overcast with intermittent light snow showers.  Winds are from the SW at 6-17 mph.  The dew point is 32°F (0°C) and visibility is 3 miles.  The pressure is 29.40 in (995.6 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 73°F (23°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Average temps for this date are 58°F/36°F.  Sunrise was at 6:52 AM and sunset will be at 8:21 PM.
