Our Coldest Day, Then A Major Warmup For Mid Michigan
This is a weird beginning of May to say the least. We had rain showers yesterday that changed to snow flurries after dark. There has been no accumulations here, but Marquette had a full-blown blizzard yesterday. They now have close to 2 feet of snowpack. The Yoopers love their winter sports, and this will give them one more chance to do what they love before the warm air moves in next week. I’ve seen snow up north in May before, but not blizzard conditions with this much accumulation.

Yesterday’s high was 48°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 35°F (2°C). Normal temps for this date are 64°F/41°F. Sunrise was at 6:30 AM and sunset will be at 8:38 PM.
