Once again, we have fog. This is common for Michigan this time of year. We can see the sun peeking through and I’m sure that it will clear up by noon. Today begins a period of summer-like weather which is expected to last for the next 5-6 days. I’m loving it! We will probably see upper 70s and even 80 degrees over the next week. Yesterday brought us intermittent rain showers which became heavier as the day wore on. There was 0.19″ in my gauge this morning, and looking at the CoCoRahs reports this morning, most stations in southern Michigan recorded more than that. We are seeing a little more color everyday, and peak color isn’t expected for a few more weeks yet. We have the beginning of a sunny and warm weekend. What great weather for that late season camping trip or anything else that you want to do.
