Frigid Temps Continue . . . .
It was 1 degree when I got up this morning, and it hasn’t warmed up significantly since then. The sun is trying to peek out but a thin cloud cover remains. At least we don’t have the strong winds today so it is a bit more bearable. I hate the cold more than the snow, and the south isn’t being spared either. This mass of arctic air can’t move on soon enough to suit me.
Our 3 PM temperature is 12°F (-11°C), the humidity is 79% and skies are mostly cloudy. Winds are from the SW at 3-9 mph and the wind chill is 0°F (-18°C). The dew point is 4°F (-16°C) and the pressure is 30.02 in (1016.6 mb) and falling. Visibility is 7 miles. Yesterday’s high was 17°F (-8°C) and the overnight low was -4°F (-16°C).
