Finally, Some Sun!!!

Finally, Some Sun!!!

We only had two sunny days in January.  They were Jan. 2 and Jan. 15.  Oh sure, there were a few others where it peeked out for about two minutes, and that was it.  But finally, today we’ll have Mr. sun present for a good portion of the day, and that will be lovely.  What’s even better is that we are expecting a few more sunny days this upcoming week.  Mother Nature is finally giving us a reprieve from the gloom and rain.  Highs in the 40s are also expected, so it will start feeling a little like spring.

Our 12:45 PM temperature is 34°F (1°C), the humidity is 82%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the S at 0-4 mph, and the dew point is 26°F (-3°C).  The pressure is 29.90 in (1012.5 mb) and falling, and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 37°F (3°C) and the overnight low was 27°F (-3°C).  Average temps for this date are 30°F/15°F.  The record high for Jan. 2 is 56°F set in 1973, and the record low is  -37°F set in 1868.  Sunrise was at 7:51 AM and sunset will be at 5:51 PM.
