Warm And Windy . . . .
Our morning began with clear skies and a bit breezy. We did get some rain overnight and my weather station is showing some lightning strikes, although I slept through it. We could get more storms today but nothing severe is expected.
Our sky is still mostly clear and temperatures have risen to 80°F. We have some cumulus clouds appearing in the west so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few storms pop up. Our 2 PM humidity is 41% which is low for any precip to develop. Winds are from the SW at 10-22 mph, and the pressure is 29.81 in and falling. Visibility is 13 miles and the dew point is 50°F. Yesterday’s high was 72°F and the overnight low was 56°F. Average temps for this date are 68°F/45°F. The record high for May 12 is 90°F set in 1879, and the record low is 27°F set in 2010. Sunrise was at 6:16 AM, and sunset will be at 8:52 PM.
