Rain To Start The Day . . . . .

Rain To Start The Day . . . . .

Rain began late yesterday afternoon and continued through the overnight.  There was 0.19″ in my gauge this morning, and we had a fine mist at that time.  Now it is just cloudy and we should see some clearing late in the day.  I don’t think that temps will reach the expected high unless the sun makes a showing.

Our 3 PM temperature is only 67°F (19°C), the humidity is 87%, and winds are from the east at 1-5 mph.  The pressure is 29.93 in (1013.6 mb) and rising, and visibility is 6 miles.  The dew point is 64°F (18°C).  Yesterday’s high was 77°F (25°C) and the overnight low was 60°F (16C).  Average temps for this date are 75F/52F.  The record high for June 1 is 97F (36°C) set in 1934, and the record low is 36°F (2°C) set in 1966.  Sunrise was at 6:01 AM, and sunset will be at 9:11 PM.
