Heat Advisory Continues . . . .
Our hot weather continues with highs in the 90s. With that comes the chance of thunderstorms, and those are welcome with this heat. We had no rain yesterday, but could see some late this afternoon. I always love a good summer thunderstorm as long as it doesn’t reach severe levels.
Our 10:45 AM temperature is 85°F (29°C), the humidity is 66%, and skies are partly cloudy. Winds are from the S at 4-12 mph, and the pressure is 29.99 in (1015.6 mb) and steady. The dew point is 67°F (19°C) and visibility is 12 miles. Yesterday’s high was 92°F (33°C) and the overnight low was 72°F (22°C). The record high for June 17 is 95°F (35°C) set in 1994, and the record low is 38°F (3°C) set in 1972. Sunrise was at 5:58 AM, and sunset will be at 9:19 PM.
