Perfect Weather . . . .

Perfect Weather . . . .

Today is beginning with cool temperatures, clear skies, and a nice breeze.  This is my kind of summer weather.  The AC should get a rest today with highs only expected to reach the mid 70s and there is no rain in the forecast until tomorrow night and Saturday.  Of course, rain is expected the weekend that we’ll be up north.  With a large area of severe weather expected in the country, the storm chasers will be busy today.  I just hope that any damage is minimal.

Our 11:30 AM temperature is 65°F, the humidity is 58%, and winds are from the NNW at 3-8 mph.  The pressure is 29.95 in and rising, and the dew point is 47°F.  Visibility is 12 miles and skies are clear.  Yesterday’s high was 81°F and the overnight low was 56°F.  Average temps for June 26 are 81°F/56°F.  The record high for June 26 is 99°F set in 1971, and the record low is 48°F set in 1988.  Sunrise was at 5:59 AM, and sunset will be at 9:19 PM.
