Typical July Weather . . . .
We had a nice thunder shower early yesterday evening which left 0.21″ in my gauge. It was one of many rain cells which moved over southern Michigan yesterday, and gave some areas over an inch of rain. We had just a nice shower with a little thunder . Today has been sunny but a little muggy. Temperatures are right where they should be for this time of year, and nothing dramatic is expected any time soon. It’s been a nice summer so far.
Our 2:30 PM temperature is 81°F, the humidity is 46% and the pressure is 29.90 in and falling. Winds are calm and the dew point is 58°F. Skies are mostly clear and visibility is 13 miles. Yesterday’s high was 82°F, and the overnight low was 63F. The record high for July 22 is 95°F set in 1914, and the record low is 48°F set in 1985. Sunrise was at 6:20 AM, and sunset will be at 9:08 PM.
