Rain, Clouds To Begin Our Day . . . .
As Florida is preparing for the impact of yet another hurricane, we in Michigan are looking forward to another week of great weather. Yesterday was a bit stormy with even a few tornado warnings down by the state line. But none materialized although I think there were a few in Ohio and Indiana. Most of Florida is under a emergency declaration although the site of impact for the storm seems to be along the Gulf Coast somewhere. Nothing is for certain yet. We had a little drizzle this morning but hardly any accumulation. Parts of the state received well over a couple inches of rain yesterday, but we only got 0.02″.
Our 1:15 PM temperature is 69°F (21°C), the humidity is 81%, and winds are from the west at 5-8 mph. The pressure is 29.92 in (1013.2 mb) and rising. The dew point is 61°F (16°C), and visibility is 14 miles. Yesterday’s high was 73°F (23°C) and the overnight low was 63°F (17°C). Average temps for this date are 69F/47F. Record temps for Sept 24 are 92°F (2017) and 26°F (1976). Sunrise was at 7:28 AM, and sunset was at 7:30 PM.
