Not A Bad Sunday . . .
Our morning began with a little rain which ended by 9 AM. Now we have clouds but should see a little sun later on. The rain we got was the remnants of Hurricane Helene, that has caused a lot of devastation, not only in Florida, but Tennessee and North Carolina as well. Many small towns were totally wiped out by flood water, and many people are still trapped. So far there hasn’t been much response from the government as far as relief efforts. They must be too busy with Ukraine and all the illegals pouring into the country. But that’s another subject.
Our 1 PM temperature is 74°F (23°C), the humidity is 74%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the NE at 4-9 mph, and the pressure is 29.96 in (1014.6 mb) and steady. The dew point is 62°F (17°C) and visibility is 13 miles. Yesterday’s high was 75°F (24°C) and the overnight low was 65°F (18°C). Average temps for this date are 67°F/45°F. Record temps for Sept. 28 are 88°F (1905), and 22°F (1991). Sunrise was at 7:33 AM, and sunset will be at 7:22 PM.
