Clear, Sunny And Dry . . . .
Sept. 23 was the last time that we had any significant rainfall. It is getting very dry and we could use some of that rain that the hurricanes are bringing to our southeast. Maybe I should be careful what I wish for. Regardless, yesterday was nice except we did have strong winds. Some gusts reached 30 mph, so doing anything outdoors wasn’t too pleasant. Today is much better.
Our 1PM temperature is 62°F, the humidity is 44%, and winds are from the NW at 3-13 mph. The pressure is 29.97 in and steady. The dew point is 36°F, skies are clear, and visibility is 31 miles. Yesterday’s high was 77°F and the overnight low was 53°F. Average temps for this date are 64°F/43°F. Record temps for Oct. 6 are 89°F (1963) and 22°F (1873).
