Continued Dry But Cooler . . . .

The eyes of the nation are on Florida today with a large, wicked hurricane knocking on their door.  Hurricane Milton is expected to come on shore in the Tampa area early Thursday morning.  Most of the state of Florida will be affected.  We, in Michigan, are still enjoying nice weather although we need rain.  We could see our first frost this week, so I’ll have to bring my hanging plants in for the night.

Our 4:30 PM temperature is 67°F, the humidity is 38%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the west at 2-10 mph, and visibility is 27 miles.  The dew point is 33°F.  Yesterday’s high was 66°F, and the overnight low was 44°F.  Average temps for this date are 63°F/42°F.  Record temps for Oct. 7 are 86°F (2007) and 19°F (1896).  Sunrise was at 7:43 AM and sunset will be at 7:06 PM.
