Another Nice Day . . . .
We are blessed with yet another fine autumn day. Temperatures will be mild and there should be a lot of sun. I can’t remember an autumn that has given us so many mild, dry days and I love it. This is my favorite time of year anyway. The temperature dipped down to the freezing mark last night, and we had a heavy frost. Our trees are just about bare now, although those that still have leaves are more brown than colored. It hasn’t been a good year for color with it being so dry.
Our 11:15 AM temperature is 50°F (10°C), the humidity is 77%, and winds are from the S at 2-6 mph. The pressure is 30.08 in (1018.6 mb) and steady and the wind chill is 48°F (4°C). The dew point is 39°F (4°C) and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 67°F (19°C) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C). Average temps for this date are 57°F/38°F. Sunrise was at 8:02 AM, and sunset will be at 6:41 PM.
