We had about half an inch of snow this morning, now most is gone. Much of the western side of the state is buried with up to 4 feet in some areas. I was watching the storm chasers on YouTube yesterday, and they were out helping people get unstuck and taking food to police and emergency personnel. Yesterday turned out to be partly sunny and not too bad of a day. We had a few flurries in the morning but then a mix of sun and clouds later in the day. Much of the snow melted where the sun hit, and we have maybe half an inch left. I expect that to be gone by tonight. After two days of almost constant snow showers, we finally have a break in the clouds today and some sun. There was 1.5 inches of snow cover, and now much of it is gone. Although temperatures aren’t expected to rise above freezing, the sun is making up for that. Our 1:30 PM temperature is 31°F, the humidity is 76%, and skies are partly cloudy.
