A Wet But Mild Day . . . .
After a very pleasant Sunday, our Monday is damp, but the temperatures are very mild. Overnight drizzle has continued but is supposed to end early this afternoon. We’re still waiting for that to happen. There was 0nly 0.05″ in my rain gauge at 8:30 and light rain has continued since. It’s a dark and dreary day so far.
Our 1:45 PM temperature is 49°F, the humidity is 88%, and winds are from the SW at 5-8 mph. The pressure is 29.87 in and rising. The dew point is 48°F and visibility is 8 miles. Yesterday’s high was 50°F and the overnight low was 39°F. Average temps for this date are 36°F/24°F. Record temps for Dec. 8 are 59°F (1966) and -4°F (1976). Sunrise was at 7:58 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM .
