After a day and night of constant rain, today we have the sun trying to make an appearance.  Yesterday’s precip amount was 1.33 inches.  It rained all day, then switched to wet snow late last night.  It was covering my deck when I went to bed, and I expected to see an all white ground cover this morning.  There was no snow remaining.  We will start losing our warm temperatures after today, and very cold temps will be with us once again.  The YouTube weather gurus are advising us to prepare for a cold, snowy January.  We’ll see it they’re right.

Our 11:15 AM temperature is 39°F (4°C), the humidity is 89%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the W at 8-17 mph, and the wind chill is 32°F (0°C).  The pressure is 30.15 in (1021.0 mb) and rising and the dew point is 35°F (2°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 45°F (7°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Average temps for this date are 31°F/19°F.  Record temps for Dec. 29 are 59°F (1984) and -11°F (1944).
