Early Sun, Now Clouds And Flurries . . . .

Our day began with clear skies and sun.  Now we have overcast skies and snow flurries.  The central portions of the country are being buried under snow and ice.  Originally, we thought that some of that would come our way, but we lucked out once again.  Although we have very chilly temperatures, our snow cover remains at about 1.5″.  The little snow showers that we get aren’t adding to that.  Most of these are quick lake effect showers and aren’t amounting to much.  I’m already hearing about another potential large winter storm for the end of this week.  I think that one will miss us also, but we’ll have to keep an eye on it.

Our 2 PM temperature is 20°F, the humidity is 76%, and winds are from the NW at 2-7 mph, giving us a wind chill of 15°F.  The pressure is 30.10 in and falling.  The dew point is 13°F and visibility is 8 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 23°F and the overnight low was 11°F.  Average temps for this date are 31°F/18°F.  Sunrise was at 8:09 AM and sunset will be at 5:17 PM.
