A Much Quieter Day . . .

A Much Quieter Day . . .

Looking at the national weather map, today is much more quiet than the past two, with the snow storm and severe weather having moved off to the east.  High pressure is now dominating most of the country and I’m sure it’s a relief to those in Kansas and Missouri.  Unfortunately, our temperatures haven’t risen much, so no help from Mother Nature in the thawing department.  It doesn’t seem to be any happening in the near future either.  I guess we’re stuck with January weather.

Our 2:15 PM temperature is 28°F, the humidity is 63%, and winds are from the NW at 3-11 mph.  Our wind chill is 22°F.  The pressure is 30.17 in and falling, the dew point is 16°F, and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 25°F and the overnight low was 16°F.  Average temps for this date are 30°F/17°F.  Sunrise was at 8:08 AM, and sunset will be at 5:19 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Tonight:  Mostly cloudy.  Low near 14°F.  Winds NW at 5-10 mph.
