Sunshine After A Very Cold Morning . . .
My weather station showed -1F this morning at 8:30. All other nearby weather stations showed temps in the teens. Why was it so much colder at my house? Did we have clear skies and everyone else had clouds? I don’t get it! Regardless, we have plenty of sun right now and temps have warmed up significantly. The big weather story today is the disastrous fires in Los Angeles. High winds and lack of water is making it an almost impossible situation. Another big weather story is the winter storm hitting down south. Texas, Oklahoma and other states are looking at freezing rain and plenty of snow. They’re getting the weather that we should be, but thankful that we aren’t. I can handle the snow, but don’t want any part of the freezing rain.
