Polar Bear Weather . . . .

Polar Bear Weather . . . .

I think polar bears would love our weather but not us so much.  It is extremely cold and I’m glad I don’t have to go out in it.  The sun is peeking through a little and we have had a few snow showers earlier today.  The wind is making it unbearable to be out for more than a few minutes.  I’m just happy that it will be warming up about Thursday.

Our 3:30 PM temperature is 16°F (-9°C), the humidity is 60%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the W at 6-13 mph and the pressure is 29.96 in (1014.6 mb) and falling.  The wind chill is 6°F (-14°C).  The dew point is 4°F (-16°C)and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 41°F (5°C) and the overnight low was 11°F (-12°C).  Average temps for this date are 30°F/15°F.  Record temps for Jan 18 are 54°F (1949) and -21°F (1994).  Sunrise was at 8:03 AM and sunset will be at 5:33 PM.
