We continue to have about 3 inches of snow cover but it won’t be around long.  There is a substantial warmup on the horizon for us in early February.  I’m hoping that it lasts all month.  I’m ready for some spring-teaser weather.  We’re beginning to see more days coming with highs above freezing, so the snow should be dwindling away a little at a a time.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 31°F (-1°C), the humidity is 73%, and winds are from the S at 5-10 mph.  Skies are overcast and the wind chill is 25°F (-4°C).  The pressure is 29.55 in (1000.7 mb) and falling, the dew point is 20°F (-7°C), and visibility is 15 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 37°F (3°C) and the overnight low was 17°F (-8°C).  Average temps for this date are 30°F/15°F.  Record temps for Jan. 27 are 54°F (2002) and -12°F (2003).  Sunrise was at 7:56 AM, and sunset will be at 5:44 PM.
