Heading Into Another Warmup . . . .

Heading Into Another Warmup . . . .

After the past two very cold days, we can look forward to more warm weather in the days ahead.  In fact, Monday and Tuesday are expected to reach into the 60s possibly.  Today will still not be that warm, but at least we should see quite a bit of sun.  That always makes a day more pleasant.

Our 11 AM temperature is 29°F, the humidity is 60%, an skies are clear.  Winds are from the west at 3-6 mph, and the pressure is 30.32 in and rising.  The dew point is 14°F and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 40°F and the overnight low was 19°F.  Average temps for this date are 40°F/23°F.  Record temps for March 7 are 75°F  (2000), and -5°F (1999).  Sunrise was at 7:02 AM and sunset will be at 6:35 PM

Daylight Savings Time starts tonight.  Our lawmakers are considering putting an end to the time changes and I hope they finally do it.  I prefer to stay on standard time myself.  I don’t like the idea of it still being dark at 9AM in mid winter.  I also don’t like it still being daylight at 11 PM in mid summer.  So guess we’ll just wait and see if it really happens.
