Today Will Be A Winner . . . .

Today is shaping  up to be a really nice day.  It’s about as perfect as you can get in the moth of March in Michigan.  The “bomb cyclone” is expected to remain well to our south, although we will have some pretty strong winds from it.  There is a very small chance for severe weather, but that doesn’t appear likely at this time.  We could see heavy rain in some places on Saturday, and we could see our first thunderstorm.

Our 11 AM temperature is 42°F (6°C), the humidity is 63%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the ENE at 1-3 mph, and the pressure is 30.13 in (1020.3 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 26°F (-3°C) and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 49°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C).  Normal temps for this date are 42°F/24°F.  Record temps for March 12 are 76°F (1990) and -4°F (1948).  Sunrise was at 7:53 AM and sunset will be at 7:41 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:
