Cloudy, Windy, Rainy . . . .

Today is not very nice.  The wind is very strong and temps are dropping as the day goes on.  We had steady rain earlier but no precip at this time.  Originally we were supposed to see some snow this afternoon, but looks like that has been removed from the forecast.  Temperatures will warm  up over the next few days with highs in the 70s on Friday.  Unfortunately, that brings the chance for severe weather once again.  Extreme storm chaser, Reed Timmer, said that this was going to be a very stormy spring, and he sure wasn’t kidding.  He made that prediction back in February.  We have already had more tornadoes this year than we usually see all year, and tornado season isn’t even here yet for Michigan.

Our 2:30 PM temperature is 41°F (5°C), the humidity is 66%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the west at 13-23 mph, and the pressure is 29.74 in° (1007.1 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 31°F (-1°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 70F (21C) and the overnight low was 37°F (3°C).  Average temps for this date are 57°F/36°F.  Record temps for April 14 are 82°F (2023) and 20°F (1950).  Sunrise was at 6:55 AM and sunset will be at 8:19 PM.
