After 3 days of wet, cool weather, we have sun and warm temperatures today. Our total rainfall since Sunday is 1.33 inches. That’s a good watering for the newly planted fields in our area. I’m hearing that parts of our state are having drought conditions, so I hope that they benefited from some of this rain. The rain began overnight, and has continued through the morning hours. We are getting a break now but I don’t think it will last long. We received over an inch of much needed rain over the past two days. Everything is nice and green and the grass is growing. We had clear skies this morning, but now rain is moving in from the southeast. That doesn’t often happen. We aren’t expecting much until overnight.
