All Storms Missed Us in Mid Michigan
Yesterday, we thought for sure that we would get some much needed rain. There was a large area of yellow/red cells on the radar from the early afternoon. It moved very slowly toward us and didn’t near our area until almost midnight. The problem was that when it finally approached us, it changed directions to the northeast. We got the very bottom edge leaving only 0.01″ in my gauge. What a disappointment. The farmers around me have all planted, and we haven’t received any significant rain since they did. With this very hot weather that we have had, the ground dries out so quickly. The chance for rain remains into the weekend, but with our luck . . . .
