A Beautiful Day In Mid Michigan
Our weather is shaping up to be a great start for the first of October. We are getting into the frost season and it won’t be long until the summer flowers will all be gone. My Mums are all open and will resist the frost as will the roses. Once they’re gone, then it will be snow season. I’m not looking forward to that but I am looking forward to being back on standard time. My body has never adjusted to daylight savings time as far as sleep goes. I still can’t fall asleep until about 1-2 AM, and I don’t wake up until 9 AM. I only wake up then because of the dog. She wants her breakfast. One more month . .. . .
Our 5 PM temperature is 67°F, the humidity is 37%, and winds are from the NE at 3-5 mph. The pressure is 30.13 in and falling and the dew point is 39°F. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 60°F and the overnight low was 43°F. Average temps for this date are 67°F / 45°F. Record highs for this date are 89°F / 28°F. Sunrise was at 7:33 AM and sunset will be at 7:21 PM.
