Morning Sun Became Afternoon Clouds – Mid Michigan
Temperatures remained in the 40s most of the night, therefore melting most of our snow. I measured this morning and it averaged out to about 2 inches. Now it is far less with only about 30% of snow cover. The snowdrifts and snow banks are all that remains. Now it will be dark and dreary at 5 o’clock again. Snow is not a bad thing this time of year as long as it is not overdone.
Our 2:30 PM temperature is 47°F, the humidity is 90%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the south at 5-8 mph, and the dew point is 44°F. The pressure is 29.84 in and steady. Yesterday’s high was 41°F and the overnight low was 38°F. Average temps for this date are 31°F / 19°F. The record high for Dec. 28 is 63F, and the record low is -7F. Sunrise was at 8:08 AM and sunset will be at 5:10 PM.
