Record Breaking High Temps Today . . . .
Today looks and feels like a day in late April. Unfortunately, it may bring some severe weather later this evening and tonight. The last time we had weather this warm, this early in the season, was when we had the tornado back in 2019. I hope we don’t see a repeat of that tonight. It’s still early and our temps are already in the low 70s. I think that our high may be more than what is predicted. Regardless, it’s great just to go outdoors and sit.
Our 1:45 PM temperature is 72°F (22°C), the humidity is 58%, and skies are clear. Winds are from the south at 7-16 mph, and the dew point is 52°F (11°C). The pressure is 29.34 in (993.6 mb) and falling. Visibility is 11 miles. Yesterday’s high was 56°F (13°C) and the overnight low was 47°F (8°C). Average temps for this date are 37°F/20°F. The records for Feb. 26 are 61°F (1944 and -12°F (1994). Sunrise was at 7:18 AM and sunset will be at 6:23 PM.
