Today is much cooler than yesterday.  Temperatures this morning were in the 30s although I didn’t see any evidence of frost.  I brought my hanging plants in anyway.  Tonight will be another cold one but then temps will begin to moderate once again by Thursday.  Mother Nature is breaking us in to the winter season gradually.

Our 2:45 PM temperature is 51°F, the humidity is 52%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the north at 4-7 mph, and the pressure is 30.07 in and steady.  The wind chill is 45°F and the dew point is 30°F.  Visibility 12 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 53°F and the overnight low was 38°F.  Average temps for this date are 60°F/40°F.  Record temps for Oct. 14 are 85°F (1947) and 23°F (1944).  Sunrise was at 7:51 AM, and sunset will be at 6:55 PM.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy.  Low 37°F.  Winds NW at 5-10 mph.

Wednesday:  Partly cloudy.  Areas of frost early.  High near 54°F.  Winds NW at 5-10 mph.
