A Quiet Saturday For Mid Michigan
Today is expected to be a rather tame day weather-wise with plenty of sun but very chilly temperatures. We probably won’t see highs above the freezing mark, but any snow that’s left will probably melt if in a sunny area. We have very little snow cover at this time with barely a trace. There were intermittent snow showers yesterday which didn’t amount to much more than flurries, and there was just a very light cover on my deck this morning. Although it is cloudy right now, we are expecting a mostly sunny day . . . . at least. that’s what the local forecasters are telling us.
Right now (9 AM), our temperature is 23°F (-5°C), the humidity is 62%, and winds are from the northwest at 7 mph. The wind chill is 16°F (-9°C). The pressure is 30.56 in (1034.9 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 21°F (-6°C). Averages for this date are 35°F / 25°F. Sunrise this morning was at 7:54 AM and the sun will set at 5:01 PM.
