Dense Fog For Our Sunday Morning – Mid Michigan
Visibility is about 1/4 of a mile right now and a freezing fog advisory is in effect. I went out on my deck this morning and it was not slippery although there was a little ice on the railings. The water in my rain gauge was not frozen so it seems that temperatures did not fall much below the freezing mark overnight. This is the third morning that we have had fog, and that’s the down side of having warmer temperatures this time of year. It doesn’t look like we will have a white Christmas this year but I have to say that these temperatures feel much better than what we have had through November.
Our 9:15 AM temp is 32°F (0°C), the humidity is 100% and skies are cloudy with dense fog. Winds are calm and the pressure is 30.09 in (1019.0 mb) and falling. The dew point is 32°F (0°C) and visibility is 0.25 miles. Yesterday’s high was 36°F (7°C) and the overnight low was 31°F (1°C). Averages for this date are 33°F / 23°F. Sunrise was at 8:01 AM and the sun will set at 5:02 PM.
