Cloudy, Cool, But No Fog – Mid Michigan
The fog has finally dissipated after three days. Skies began to clear yesterday in the late afternoon and the humidity dropped. There is no precipitation in our forecast but I doubt that we’ll see much sun either. Forecasters are now saying that there is a chance that we’ll have snow for Christmas and I hope it happens. It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only 8 days away and it seems to come faster every year. We can look forward to the gradual increase in our daylight hours after this Friday which is the first day of winter. There won’t be much evidence of that, however, until around mid January
Our 9:30 AM temperature is 34°F (1°C), the humidity is 77%, and the pressure is 30.08 in and rising. Skies are overcast and the dew point is 27°F (-3°C). Winds are from the NW at 9 mph and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 36°F (2°F) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C). Normals for this date are 33°F / 32°F. Sunrise was at 8:01 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
