Mild And Windy For Our Tuesday – Mid Michigan
We received about an inch of snow late last night but it was all melted this morning when I woke. Winds have now increased and skies are cloudy. Our snow cover is about 80% and I expect that the warmer temps will do away with much of it today. This winter has been a welcome experience for us after what we had last year. It almost doesn’t seem like we had any winter. This was supposed to be a very cold, snowy, hard winter according to Farmer’s Almanac but Mother Nature had other ideas. I’m not complaining.
Our 10 AM temperature is 36°F (2°C), the humidity is 80%, and winds are from the WNW at 6-18 mph with some gusts much higher. The dew point is 32°F (0°C). The pressure is 29.71 in (1006.1 mb) and rising. Skies are overcast and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 33°F (1°C) and the overnight low was 30°F (-1°C). Averages for this date are 30°F / 16°F.
