A Snowy Morning In Mid Michigan
We seem to be right on the northern edge of a large winter storm which will affect much of New England, Pennsylvania and New York. Once again we are lucking out and our ground remains snow-less and green at this time. Accumulations for us should be less than an inch but the southern portions of the state could get a few inches. There is another warmup coming for the weekend, so any snow on the ground won’t last long.
Our 10:30 AM temperature is 25F (-4C), the humidity is 85%, and skies are overcast with light snow. Winds are from the E at 4-13 mph and visibility is 7 miles. The wind chill is 20F (-7C) and the dew point is 20F (-7C). The pressure is 29.97 in (1014.9 mb) and falling. Yesterday’s high was 28F (-2C) and the overnight low was 23F (-5C). Sunrise was at 8:01 AM and sunset will be at 5:02 PM.
