Light Snow And Cloudy Skies For Mid Michigan
Today seems like a typical December day in Michigan with cloudy skies, temps in the 20s, and light snow falling. Highs today will probably not rise above freezing but we’re expecting a warmup by the weekend. Once again, the snow has missed us and all we have is a very light covering, mainly on bare surfaces. There wasn’t even enough to measure this morning. I wouldn’t mind getting a little for Christmas but it isn’t looking too promising at this time. But we all know how quickly that can change.
Our 11:45 AM temperature is 30F (-1C), the humidity is 87%, and winds are from the NNE at 2-8 mph. The wind chill is 29F (-2C). Skies are overcast with light flurries and visibility is 90 miles. The dew point is 27F (-3C). The pressure is 29.97 in (1014,9 mb) and steady. Yesterday’s high was 29F (-2C) and the overnight low was 25F (-4C). Average temps for this date are 33F / 23F.
