After A Snowy Saturday, We Have A Sunny Sunday Morning – Mid Michigan
The sun was shining brightly when I got up and hoarfrost covered everything. It’s such a glorious sight. I hope the sun remains all day even if temperatures are very cold. The upcoming forecasts are showing that this frigid air may finally pass and temps will be closer to average once again. Our forecast is calling for more snow flurries today and that’s what our Saturday produced. It snow all day with no breaks. Fortunately, it was light and only dropped about half an inch of new snow. Our snow cover is now up to 6.5 inches.
Our 9:45 AM temp is 13F (-11C), the humidity is 94%, and skies are mostly clear. Winds are from the SW at 1-5 mph and the wind chill is 10F (-12C). The dew point is 11F (-12C) and the pressure is 30.11 in (1019.7 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 20F (-7C) and the overnight low was 8F (-13C). Averages for this date are 29F / 16F.
