Much Needed Rain In Mid Michigan
After a night of moderate to heavy rainfall, our Friday has been mostly dry. There was 1.47″ in my gauge this morning and it was very welcome. The grass has greened up a bit and the fire danger is now over. There is a chance of more rain over the next few days and our temperatures are much cooler. Today’s temp was at our normal level for this date, but it feels cold compared to what we’ve had over the past 3 days. At least there is no stormy weather predicted anytime soon for us and any snow will remain in northern Michigan.
Our 5:15 PM temp is 47°F (8°C), the humidity is 78% and winds are from the WNW at 3-10 mph. The dew point is 39°F (4°C) and the pressure is 29.84 in (1015.5 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 56°F (13°C) and the overnight low was 35°F (2°C). Averages for this date are 46°F / 30°F. Sunrise was at 7:29 AM and sunset will be at 7:55 PM.
