Another Very Windy Day In Mid Michigan
Our morning began with rain, but now the sun is out and it appears to be a beautiful day. But just step outdoors where the wind can hit you, and it doesn’t feel so nice. Strong winds have been the norm this spring, which is to be expected with these extreme temperature variations that we have had. Today will be cool, but then another blast of 70 degree weather for the weekend. We really need the rain that we received yesterday and last night. There was 0.33″ in my gauge, and that was the first significant rain that we’ve had in a while.
Our 1:15 PM temperature is 51°F (11°C), the humidity is 44%, and winds are from the NW at 7-21 mph, gusting as high as 30 mph. The dew point is 33°F (1°C) and the wind chill is 45°F (7°C). Visibility is 10 miles. Skies are partly cloudy. The pressure is 30.03 in (1016.9 mb) and rising. Yesterday’s high was 52°F (11°C) and the overnight low was 40°F (4°C). Average temps for this date are 62°F / 42°F.
