Cloudy, Cold And Not a Very Nice Mothers Day In Mid Michigan
Our beautiful warm weather has left us for a spell, and it doesn’t look like it will return before next weekend. I even saw a few raindrops on my windshield this morning as I returned from church. On the positive side, there is hardly any wind. Radar is showing a large mass of rain over the southern portions of the state but it doesn’t appear to be heading this way. All my kids were here for the weekend and we celebrated Mother’s day yesterday since they had to leave this morning. It’s always nice to have them home and the dog thinks so too. She is always a bit mopey after they leave.
Our 2 PM temperature is only 51°F (11°C), the humidity is 67% and winds are from the east at 1-5 mph. The dew point is 37°F (3°C) and the pressure is 29.88 in (1011.9 mb) and falling. Visibility is 10 miles and skies are overcast. Yesterday’s high was 53°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 36°F (2°C). Averages for this date are 64°F / 44°F. Sunrise was at 6:19 AM and sunset will be at 8:46 PM.
